Deo Ca - Vung Ro Ecological Tourist Zone


With powerful incentives from the region, Vung Ro's competitive advantages include tourism potential, low land and construction costs, which combined with low interest rates, result in the lowest initial investment costs compared to resort buiding projects in other areas.

Deo Ca - Vung Ro area is located in the extreme south of Phu Yen province, belonging to the two communes of Hoa Xuan Nam and Hoa Tam of Tuy Hoa district, about 35 kms away from Tuy Hoa town following the National Road 1A and the North - South Railway. It also faces to the Van Phong - Dai Lanh Bay of Khanh Hoa Province.
The nature has favoured this place with a plentiful and potential tourist resource. Besides the on-land resources gathering in the North Deo Ca Pass Forest Reserve such as Da Bia Mountain, Han stream, Deo Ca Pass, the Bien Ho Lake...with a fantastic beauty among the super scenery of the mountains and forests with many kinds of special and rare animals. This area also contains massive resources at the bottom of the sea, along the seaside and the offshore area, which is so meaningful to the ecological tourism.

With nearly 30 kms of winding seashore with many rocking reefs and sandy beaches leaning against the impressive postures of the mountains, it is very convenient for building tourist resorts of sports and relaxation as well as tourist villages...The massive rocky capes perched their ways up high in the east like Bai Cape, La Cape, Nay Cape, Dai Lanh Cape, Lon Cape...are places suitable for many forms of ecological tourism such as mountain climbing, parachuting, adventures...Towards the south of Vung Ro Bay is Hon Nua Island which adds a special feature to the beauty spot inside the bay. The wonderful coral reefs on the offshore area north of Vung Ro bay and the edge of Hon Nua island are of great variety and has a rather high degree of coverage, there are many species of precious ornamental fish nad original creatures living on the reefs which are important premises to develop sea-diving tourism and study of the ocean bottom.

Deo Ca - Vung Ro area is also the place of preserving the valuable historic vestiges for tourist activities such as Da Bia mountain connecting to the legend of the Journey-to-the-South of King Le Thanh Ton in the year 1471, Vung Ro Bay with the historic vestiges of Ho Chi Minh Path on the sea during the resistance for the South Vietnam Liberation and Unifying the country. Dai Lanh Cape - The Light House is the point to welcome the first rays of sunrise in Vietnam, the temple of Yana goddess is a place of richness in cultural features of Cham people.
